“Art Center” to dedicate cultural decentralization and culture in the middle of the administrative district of Jemel.
In the corners of the administrative district of “Jamal” and in order to establish cultural decentralization, here Ghassan Kacem and Talal Eddine Ayoub chose to launch a cultural project, which is not far from their mother city, Zaouiet Kontech.
This project came as a result of years of work and creativity in the cultural field and a beautiful response to their mother area, which lacks the appropriate spaces for cultural activity.
The first and only goal was to leave an important impact in that region due to the presence of luster in the unframed youth, which needs someone to contain it and adopt it culturally. The new cultural godfather is known as the Arts Centre “مركز فنون”.
It is an extension of perceptions and a great creative background that carries a vision and perception of all arts in one place.
Under the slogan “Imagine” and the applied extension and perception to be achieved in an arts center, Therefore the imagination is the first concept to adopt the best creations and arts.
Ghassan Kacem studied the audiovisual field and worked as a teacher in the same field in ” Ecole Supérieure de l’Audiovisuel et du Cinéma de Gammarth” and He worked on many TV channels. In addition to his important experience in theatre “El Teatro by Taoufik Jebali”.
And Talal Ayoub, director and theater actor, who studied at “Higher Institute of Dramatic Art of Tunis” and the founder of the street theater project.
The two partners believe that cultural decentralization, youth formation, and the advancement of public thought are among the most important axes of the project, as the space is equipped with the best techniques and technologies for theater and cinematography.
The show base contains 100 seats ready to receive cinema lovers, and a cultural café with many activities such as reading and chess. The youth of the region gradually began to get acquainted with the place and find its cultural outlet, where they can engage in clubs and workshops such as music drawing, theater, and the formation of content makers in line with our age and the desire of young people to achieve goals in the virtual world.
Many theatrical elite and specialized professors from many regions of Tunisia participate in the cultural complex and they have many tasks there.
Despite the constant and tireless pursuit of the owners of the project and the support of the owners of the property, Hamed Mensi and Riyad Mensi, there are still administrative delays and the lack of documents to sustain the project, which will be the seed for years of legacy and impact on the thinking of young people who will turn over the torch one day. Which brings down many responsibilities to the authorities.
