7arga !

“Harga” A word that defines the one-way journey by death boats, from Tunisia across the Mediterranean Sea, to Europe the safe haven in the eyes of these immigrants.

So spoke Lassaad Oueslati in his excellent show 7arga, which is shown during the month of Ramadan. The series deals with illegal immigration and its consequences on society, Enduring torment for the immigrants and their parents.

This series was not a fictional creation of the author. The cinematography was nothing but a method of his protest. Rather, it conveyed a bitter reality that Tunisia witnessed for many years.
