This very special and typical architecture made one of the most famous directors of the world choose Djerba as a filming location for one of the most famous science fiction films in the world.
You will discover that celebrities also chose this island in southern Tunisia as a place to spend their summer holidays to enjoy elegant experiences in “maisons d’hôtes”.
VINTAGE, MODERN, TRENDY, GORGIOUS,ENCHANTING,…This is what 50 Inside’s cameras captured this summer to make a wonderful documentary/vlog about the Mediterranean island of Djerba, the pearl of southern Tunisia. There ,the olive trees represent the guardian angel of its desert beaches, in addition to the turquoise seas and the ancient neighborhoods revived by Tunisian artists and creators.
The episode features many Tunisian celebrities such as Saif Mahdhi, who chose Djerba on a sunny and clear day to film the video of his new fashion project with the up cycling brand « Bass Couture ».
We can discover the behind the scenes of the filming with the famous Tunisian model Azza Slimane, striking the pose one of the most ancient mosque of the West Coast of Djerba.
The filming ends at dusk with an iconic frame of Azza floating in the middle of the sea…perhaps it will become one of Djerba’s images for the next generations and important for Djerba’s tourism worldwide.
The documentary features lots of interesting details and the presence of upcoming Tunisian creators and artists.

The cinematography in the show was amazing, with the special participation of Rabii Ben Brahim (the dreamer wild and free on social media ), aerial views captured and vibrant colors.
