The Artistic journey of Artine

“I imagine the characters that I will draw black and white”, this is what Ines Hammouda said.
The discipline of painting represents one of the arts that humans have traded since ancient times, which tells the stories and cultures of peoples, whose contexts and techniques differed.

Ines’s story with art was full of developments and chapters that made her today, a more mature and creative artist, and most importantly, she participates in the field of further encouraging production for artists in the Tunisian market.

The first chapters that influenced her artistic personality are very important, especially since she was born into an artistic family, where she would sit with her parents and do her first scribbles and follow their techniques that she did not adopt when she grew up.



She is multi-talented, as she performs many tasks such as making frames for her paintings, in addition to her love of climbing mountains and hiking, which helps her in meditation and creativity more in drawings. Also, she developed herself in the field of skill development and became a consultant.
Moreover, she is a graphic designer and edits her own videos, which has helped her create unique content on social networks.

At first, she started in the world of illustrations, where she used to do them with a black pen and publish them on social networking sites.

Then, little by little, she became painting people in black because she always saw the shadow of the face in that color.
In 2016, She took her first chance in the world of books, where she drew the book titled Stardust, which was published in October of 2017.



Her first passion was drawing and art. Although she studied anesthesiology and later worked in a hospital. Ines decided to take a break from work and return to the element of inspiration, which is Chinese ink and paper.

The creative suppositions and questions always lead her to the aesthetic sources, The rituals of colors and ink in the home workshop overlooking the small garden were more important than the rituals of daily work in an ordinary place,That is why Ines pursued her dream and returned to her roots and launched her artistic brand Artine.

At that time, she won a scholarship for Luxembourg Art, but she did not want to go outside Tunisia and continued her studies in her home country.

She became more popular than before, with a speedart video of George Clooney’s portrait, where many celebrities and actors contacted her to work to do portraits for them such as Hamdi Hadda and Aisha ben Ahmed.

A turning point for global spread when RedOne, the global music producer, bought a picture from Artine and posted it on his Instagram account.

After that, Ines worked with a Moroccan platform known as The Shukran for five months in a project called “Ines Hamouda’s World”, where she teaches viewers art lessons.

Later, she convert her old drawings into embroidered clothes and paintings, And in conjunction with that, she was preparing a program in Diwan FM,

In 2019, she won the BIC Art Master competition, but she used the blue pen due to the conditions of the competition.


In late 2021, she made her first art exhibition during the Noël market in the “Maison de France” in Sfax.

Artine is currently working on a new project, which She will announce later this year, in addition to a new book.



Finally, she made photographs in nature, in black and white, framed them and she add them to her rich and varied collection of art.
