Chghol a new performance by Rochdi Belgasmi.

This Saturday 26 March 2022 at 7:30 pm, B7L9 Art Station by KLF is pleased to present Chghol, a new performance by choregrapher Rochdi Belgasmi.

In this new opus, whose title derives from the word that could refer to ‘work’ or ‘craft’, Rochdi Belgasmi focuses his creative energies around a loom (‘saddayya’), and presents a mix of aesthetic approaches and unbridled bodies.

The performance develops through successive registers, where one thread will come after the other to deposit a deeply rooted imaginary. Could this loom be summoned by a dancing body, and could it be the basis for choreography? These are the issues that Rochdi Belgasmi tries to answer through this new project.
